Q: I already have a Ricoh MFD. Can I purchase the Flex Integrated Cloud software separately and have them fitted to my current MFD?

A: Yes, you can! You will need to purchase the Smart Operation Panel and Integrated Cloud together in order to cloud-enable your device.

Q: What happens after a year and I want to continue using Flex Integrated Cloud on my MFD?

A: If you have received the Flex Integrated Cloud software as part of the 12 months free subscription offer, the software is valid only for 12 Months and will have to be renewed for another 12, 24, or 36 months.
Please contact us to renew your Flex Integrated Cloud subscription.

Q: What assistance is provided during the installation process? How do I enable Flex Integrated Cloud on my MFD?

A: For customers who have purchased direct from Ricoh, our installation technicians will install the software on premise when configuring your Smart Operation Panel.

For customers who have purchased via a Ricoh Authorised Dealer, installation of Flex software will be conducted by the dealer authorised staff.

Q: Can I install other apps from Google Play on my Flex Smart Operation Panel?

A: In order to ensure the best experience from your Flex series, only apps that have been created by authorised Ricoh developers then verified and signed by Ricoh can be installed on the Smart Operation Panel.

Q: Can I print to the Flex series MFD from any mobile device?

A: Printing from mobile devices is enabled using the Smart Operation Panel and our free Smart Device Connector app, available for both Android and iOS.

The Smart Device Connector app is very versatile and allows you to send Copy / Print/ Scan / Fax jobs straight from your mobile.

Q: Is the transmission from my Flex enabled MFDs to the cloud secure?

Yes, the Integrated Cloud environment provides 128-bit SSL encryption of your documents in transit to the cloud.

Q: How is the Flex Integrated Cloud portal administered?

Each customer is assigned an administrative account to enable apps and provision accounts for individual users.
